Early Head Start

Kids On The Move Early Head Start is a child development program that serves low-income families in Utah county with children ages birth to 36 months, as well as first time pregnant mothers and their families. The goal of Early Head Start is to partner with and support parents as they help their young children grow and develop and to provide resources and support to families.

Family Focus

Positive, nurturing parent-child interactions are the focus of all Early Head Start activities. Families participate together to promote healthy family functioning, school readiness and family literacy.

Families are the first and the most important teachers of their children. Services, experiences, and activities are planned around parents' goal for their children and families.
