Our Story

Our three year old son was diagnosed with Autism shortly after our third child was bom and we began seeking help for him immediately. As a mother of three children under the age of four and a husband in school full-time, I was overwhelmed with trying to find a babysitter for my other children during countless medical visits and therapy appointments.

The Kid Care Staff at Kids On The Move was the greatest support our family received as we grieved for our son and tried to take every opportunity to help him. It would have been absolutely impossible for us to attend all of the training meetings and therapy sessions that Kids On The Move provided without the child care services that also accompanied them.

It was often difficult for us to give our normally developing children the attention they needed while we cared for our autistic son. We always knew however, that when we came to Kids On The Move all of our children would be loved whether by therapists or child care staff.

We believe that the resources that are used to provide this child care could not be spent in any more meaningful way. Please accept of our thanks and know that this service has been instrumental in helping us help our son.
